Ten Viral ChatGPT Prompts, and the One Part That Decides Whether They Work
Ten ChatGPT prompts, copy-paste ready: swap the bracket for your niche and go. That is the promise of the reel behind this article, and for getting started it is a fair one. Each card works as written, and several are genuinely useful.
But if you use all ten, you will notice something. Some answers come back sharp and specific. Others come back as the kind of generic list anyone could have written. The prompt is the same for everyone. The difference is almost entirely in one place – the bracket.
Every card has the same five parts
Look closely and all ten prompts share one structure. Four parts are written for you. One is not written at all.
| 1. Role → | 2. Task → | 3. [Bracket] → | 4. Include list → | 5. Missing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who to act as Sets the tone and vocabulary |
What to produce Usually with a number |
The only part you change Decides almost everything |
What each item must contain Gives the answer a shape |
Who it is for, and the limits The part the card leaves to you |
| “Act as a viral content strategist.” | “Give me 30 viral content ideas for” | [MY NICHE] | Hook, content format, CTA, viral angle | Audience, platform, what to avoid |
This is a compact version of the five-slot structure from vague in, vague out. The cards fill the role, the task and the format for you. What they cannot fill is context – who this is for and what it must not do – because that depends on you.
The ten prompts at a glance
Here is the full set from the reel, with the bracket each one asks for and where it earns its place if you run a channel.
| # | Prompt | You fill in | Most useful on a channel for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 30 Viral Content Ideas Generator | [MY NICHE] |
Planning a month of videos |
| 2 | High-Converting Sales Copy | [PRODUCT] |
A sponsor segment or product description |
| 3 | 30-Day Instagram Growth Plan | [NICHE] |
A short-form schedule alongside the channel |
| 4 | AI Business Ideas Generator | (none) |
Brainstorming side offers |
| 5 | Learn Any Skill Faster | [SKILL] |
A roadmap for editing, scripting or a new tool |
| 6 | Cinematic AI Image Generator | [YOUR IDEA] |
Thumbnail and b-roll image prompts |
| 7 | Business Improvement Analyzer | [YOUR IDEA] |
A second opinion on a plan |
| 8 | AI Personal Assistant | (none) |
Organising a production week |
| 9 | Prompt Generator | [TOPIC] |
Building your own prompt library |
| 10 | Repurpose One Video Into 10 Posts | [PASTE SCRIPT] |
Turning each upload into short posts |
Prompt ten is the one most creators will get the most from, because it starts from something you have already made. A script you wrote is the richest bracket possible – full of your topic, your voice and your examples – so the output inherits all of that for free.

The bracket is doing all the work
A model can only be as specific as what you give it. Put one word in the bracket and you get the average answer for that word – the same one everyone else typing that word receives. Put a person and a situation in it and the answer has to fit them.
| Bracket | Weak fill | Strong fill |
|---|---|---|
[MY NICHE] |
“fitness” | “home workouts for office workers over 40 who have no equipment and twenty minutes” |
[PRODUCT] |
“my course” | “a six-week scripting course for faceless channels, for people who have posted fewer than ten videos” |
[SKILL] |
“video editing” | “editing talking-head videos in CapCut so viewers stay past the first minute” |
[YOUR IDEA] |
“a city at night” | “a rain-soaked side street at 2am, one lit noodle stall, seen from low down, for a thumbnail” |
[TOPIC] |
“YouTube” | “researching video topics for a small tech-explainer channel in English” |
The image row is worth a second look, because prompt six is where this matters most. “A city at night” gives you a stock image. A precise scene, with a viewpoint and a purpose, gives you something a thumbnail can use – the approach we set out in image prompts in five slots.
Three upgrades that fix any card
If a card gives you a generic answer, do not rewrite it. Add three lines: who it is for, one limit, and the format you want back. Here is prompt one with all three added:
Act as a viral content strategist.
Give me 30 content ideas for [MY NICHE].
The audience is [WHO WATCHES, IN ONE SENTENCE].
The platform is YouTube; each idea must work as an 8-12 minute video.
Avoid anything my audience has already seen a hundred times: [LIST TWO TIRED TOPICS].
For each idea include: hook, format, CTA, angle.
Return it as a table, strongest ideas first.
Three extra lines, and the answer changes from thirty ideas anyone could have into thirty ideas for your viewers. The limit line does the most work: telling the model what to avoid removes the most predictable answers first. Getting the prompt right before sending it is also what stops the retry loop we described in you are paying for retries.
Three cards to use carefully
Most of the ten are low-risk. Three deserve a caution, because the answer can sound more authoritative than it is.
Prompt four, business ideas. It asks for “profitable” ideas with startup costs and difficulty levels. A model can list plausible ideas; it cannot know what is profitable in your market this year, and the cost figures are estimates at best. Treat the list as a brainstorm and check anything you would spend money on.
Prompt two, sales copy. A strong hook and a clear problem are useful. But “high-converting” copy is where claims tend to inflate. Every promise in the caption has to be true of the product, and on YouTube a sponsor segment also has to be disclosed as one.
Prompt one, viral ideas. Thirty ideas is a good start, not a plan. None of them has been checked for whether anyone is searching for it. Run the best five past real demand before filming, as in AI keyword ideas, then verify demand.
Chain them into one week of work
Used separately, the cards are ten small helpers. Used in order, four of them make a production week. Prompt one for ideas, checked against demand. Prompt nine to build a script prompt for the idea you pick. Prompt six for the thumbnail image. And prompt ten, once the video is out, to turn the script into ten short posts that send viewers back to it.
Keep the chain in one project so every step sees the same context, and save the ones you use weekly as shortcuts – the setup in save once, call in one word. The cards say ChatGPT, but the structure works the same in any capable assistant; which one suits which job is in which AI assistant for which job.
And if you have collected prompt lists before and found half of them unusable, you are not alone. We went through a hundred-prompt sheet line by line in the hundred-prompt audit; the same lesson applies here. A list is a starting point. The bracket is where it becomes yours.
Frequently asked questions
Do these prompts only work in ChatGPT?
No. They are plain instructions, so any capable assistant can follow them. Results vary a little between assistants, but the structure is the same.
Why did I get a generic answer?
Almost always because the bracket held one word. Add who it is for, one thing to avoid, and the format you want back.
Should I use all ten?
Use the ones that match work you already do every week. For most channels that is one, six, nine and ten.
Can I trust the numbers in prompt four?
Treat them as rough guesses. Costs and profitability depend on your market, and the model has no way to check either.
Fill one bracket properly today
Pick the card closest to something you need this week. Before pasting it, write the bracket as a full sentence: a person, a situation, a limit. Add the three upgrade lines. Then compare the answer with what the one-word version gives you.
Copy-paste ready gets you started. What you put in the bracket gets you results.
Learning a lot does not make anyone good. Doing a lot does.
If you want the structure that turns that into a habit, that is what our free challenge is built for: no barrier to entry, a genuine commitment to action, and a refundable commitment fee you get back when you finish. You are not paying for the knowledge. You are betting on yourself finishing, and we hold the stake.
